Our history


It all started almost three years ago, when the agronomist Athanasios Tsagkadopoulos,in the environment of strong economic crisis as it existed in Greece, believed in the need to exploit the raw materials of Greek land to increase their added value. The production of almonds in the region, some traveling abroad in search of knowledge and the idea of ​​producing 100% pure, edible vegetable oil had already been created.

Nearly two years of tests and research later, in May 2014, the idea now took shape when the love for the products of the Greek land and the lust for quality, made Athanasios Tsagkadopoulos to set up the company "Amygdalea" in Volos, starting to produce the "Volos Sweet Almond Oil".
